Council of Elrond

The Council of Elrond was a council led by Elrond , held on 25 October of T.A. 3018 in Rivendell . The attendees were called together at the essential moment by fate, each thinking they were guided only by circumstance. The main purpose of the council was to discuss what should be done with the One Ring , which was brought there by the Ring-bearer Frodo Baggins .
