History
Its origins are mysterious, as it was specifically not of Thran design, nor dwarven or goblin origin. The mysteries of the cane led Feldon to travel to Terisia City in search of any information on it, but the extensive library had nothing to match the runes on the cane's shaft. His presence there then led to his part in the Union of the Third Path, and it was also what brought him into contact with his future wife, Loran - so in that sense, the cane brought Feldon luck and happiness for a time.
Feldon was lame in one leg and used the cane as a walking stick.
Many years later, after Loran's death, Feldon sought magic to resurrect her. He approached a necromancer in the swamps north of Ronom Lake. The necromancer agreed to bring Loran back from the dead for a price - and that price was Feldon's Cane. Feldon reluctantly agreed to this and gave his cane to the necromancer. When Feldon awoke the following morning, the necromancer and all his hollow-eyed guards had disappeared. That is the last known information on the strange artifact, whose runic secrets may remain forever unknown.

Feldon bartered a second specimen from a Yumok fisherman who had been using it as a boat tiller.
