Asha "the Blessed" is a mythical figure from Alara, an archangel who was said to have battled Malfegor before the Sundering. She ultimately sacrificed herself to banish the demon, but contrary to the written record she was unable to slay him.

Description
Asha was Bant's guardian angel. Before she died, she ruled the Cathedral of Bliss, a position that has remained vacant ever since.
Her legacy includes the Prayer of Asha, the Sword of Asha, and the Sigil of the Empty Throne. Her name has become a title, although no angel has become great enough to assume it, and her throne remains empty in Alara's skies.
