Description
He was an old hermit, living alone in the woods. Eventually, the solitude drove him insane, and he became murderous to any intruders. Wielding a bloodied axe, his only company was those he could catch.
Uncle Istvan gained enough notoriety that curses used in later parts of the Dark Age included "Uncle Istvan-damned", "Uncle Istvan take it all", and "Uncle Istvan piss on it".
Trivia
- When first printed in The Dark, Uncle Istvan had the unique Creature type of Uncle Istvan. This was given errata in the Grand Creature Type Update to be Human.
