  • The Haladin are besieged in Thargelion by an Orc army and although being rescued by Caranthir, most of the haladin were slain and with them their leader, Haldad and his heir, Haldar.
  • Haleth, last surviving child (daughter) of Haldad becomes then leader of the Haladin and takes them westwards.
