Events
- The spies of Melkor discover the Quendi and afflict them with many horrors. Out of fear, they remain at Cuiviénen and go not far beyond it.
- About this time, Melkor possibly starts to breed the first Orcs from those Elves corrupted by him under torture and dark sorcery.
Non-canonical events
- Adar is born at Cuiviénen. Him and other Elves are later lured and corrupted by Melkor, becoming the Moriondor.
