The Army of Darkness vs. Reanimator: Necronomicon Rising #1

When an archaeological dig unveils an important element from the world of the Army of Darkness, it ends up in the absolute worst hands of all: Dr. Herbert West's. Plot Summary

Dr. Teller and his team find a perfectly preserved head from the 12th century in a dig site in South Scotland, and bring it back to Miskatonic University where it catches the attention of Dr. Herbert West, who unknown to anyone, inject the head with is reactivate serum.

The head turns out to be Bad Ash who tells the doctor about the Necronomicon and how it can help him in his experiments.

Elsewhere, Ash and Constance Wyrdie are at a dinner and she is trying to convince the chosen one to help her stop the Necronomicon, but Ash has heard it all before.

While telling her no, the pair are attacked by Deadnites and are forced to feel the dinner when it blows up. The destruction of the dinner is the final straw and Ash agrees to help Constance.
