The Army of Darkness vs. Reanimator: Necronomicon Rising #3

Plot Summary

Ash and Constance find themselves in a future version of Arkham but before they can figure out what is happening a portal opens and drops Dr. Herbert West and Evil Ash on top of them.

After fighting off Deadites the three chase after Evil Ash who makes an escape. The three are cornered by a Deadite army but futuristic soldiers come to save them and take them back to the citadel to meet "the master".

The master turns out to be future Herbert West, he tells them that the year is 3404 and he needs the Necronomicon that past West has. He is willing to trade the perfected serum for the chance to borrow the book and make a copy.

Ash and Constance are against this idea and when Future West informs that he will use their blood and flesh for the copy, that is the final straw. Ash takes past West by gun point and him and Constance escape.

On the street, Ash realizes Future West has the book and he messed up again.
