The minor province of Elkholm resides in the central portion of the realm of Solamnia. Sitting at the base of the Vingaard Mountains, the mountains separate Elkwith from the western province of Coastlund. The Plains of Solamnia lie to the north, and the province of Hearlund lies to both the east and south of Elkholm.
Elkholm is covered with grasslands and there are few settlements in the area, other than the capital of Egaard, which lies in the northwest of the realm, nestled amidst the Vingaard Mountains.
War of the Lance
During the War of the Lance, Elkholm remained free of the Dragonarmies before the winter of 352 AC.
