The River of Healing is a mystical site located in the province of Coastlund in Solamnia's Vingaard Mountains, east of the city of Korval. A legend says that Mishakal used to bathe in the river, and so it now haw healing properties for any sickness. Even when the gods had left following the Chaos War, the river still had healing powers.
The river leads from the mountains down to the Lake of Light. Along this lake a temple dedicated to the worship of Mishakal. If you follow the river up into the mountains, you will find that the water comes from a cave where a dead gorgon's spirit is. Prior to the Cataclysm, the gorgon and a Knight of the Crown were in love, but the Knight never returned and she died of a broken heart. Water used near the cave can restore a whole limb, bring people back from the dead, and it is said can restore youth in the old.
