Ancient Spirit Dragon

A spirit dragon could hatch from any dragon egg buried in ancient ruins and left to incubate under certain conditions. Once hatched, they grew into living embodiments of the ancient place from which they originated. Each spirit dragon had distinct features that belied the lost realm or age with which they were associated, although all had wings with which to fly. From a young age, they could also burrow with surprising efficiency, assisted by their natural blindsight .
