Futurama Comics #1: Monkey Sea, Monkey Doom!

Plot

While digging hole in the Planet Express basement, Fry, Leela and Bender find a Partridge Family lunchbox time capsule from 1979. The rest of the crew mocks the 70's items in the box, but Fry feels nostalgia for his old time.

The next day Fry finds a coupon in the back of one if the comic book for Sea-Monkeys, which is still good. After spending his dollar and adding the eggs to water, the crew is underwhelmed by what grows and then dies. The Professor offers to get rid of the dead Sea-Monkeys by throwing them into a vat of toxic waste.

The next day the Sea-Monkeys are alive again and larger than they were. Fry spends the next few days taking care of the growing sea creatures. Until one morning they are so large they start destroying New New York City.

Luckly Bender realizes and calls the warehouse and enacts the money back guarantee. Once the Sea-Monkeys are truly dead the Planet Express crew are tasked with getting rid of the enlarged corpses, and that is where Zoidberg comes in. The hungry doctor eats the Sea-Monkeys to the disgust of the rest of the crew.
