Zenescope Entertainment's Grimm Fairy Tales reimagines classic folklore and myths as dark, modern-day horror-fantasy stories. Unlike the original cautionary tales, this series features a persistent overarching plot centered on Sela Mathers, a literature professor who possesses the ability to show people the consequences of their choices through an enchanted book of fairy tales.

It spans multiple "Realms of Power"—including Grimm (Earth), Myst (Fairytale), Neverland, Land of Oz, and Wonderland—which are all connected by a cosmic struggle between the forces of light and the "Dark One."
