Am-ra is a young Atlantean man and a friend of Kull in the days before Kull's exile from Atlantis. He belonged to the Sea-Mountain Tribe, the tribe who adopted Kull as a child.

Not to be confused with Amra, the name by which Conan is known in the Black Kingdoms.
