Untaidake

Untaidake, called the Cloud Keeper (uhn-teye-DAH-kay; Japanese: 雲 (うん) 帯 (たい) 岳 (だけ) ; literally: "Cloud Belt Peak"; Kamigawan: lit. "cloud keeper"), is the largest mountain in all of Kamigawa, stretching impossibly far into the sky.

Description

It's so tall that it transcends mere "Mountain"-ness so that its mana can only be used for the most powerful and legendary creatures. The bleak white spire of Untaidake Peak rose like the polished bones of some fallen giant.

History

The yamabushi Ryusaki Kumano lived at the base of Untaidake, and during the Kami War, this was where he fought and defeated the great kami Kakkazan.
