The Fallen

The Fallen were mages from Dominaria, who were turned into almost brainless monsters by mana burn.

History

One Fallen was summoned by Ravidel during his duel against Kristina of the Woods, Altair of Coloni, and Jared Carthalion at the Dueling Chasm of Golthonor.

Fallen were especially common in Terisiare during the Dark Age. During that time, magic started to spread over the continent, but its wielders were persecuted by the Church of Tal. Because of this, mages could not easily exchange information, and many of them fell victim to mana burn while experimenting. The Fallen were used in the initiation rites of the Conclave of Mages.
