Fall of the Primevals
The Fall of the Primevals was an event during the Mythohistory of Dominaria.
History
After the Elder Dragon War, dragons ruled over Dominaria. The Primevals were among the most powerful of dragons, and the five Numena plotted their downfall. Almost single-handedly, the Numena managed to imprison the five Primevals, one dragon each.
Crosis was imprisoned in a tar pit catacomb in Urborg by the Numena Kuberr, while Darigaaz was locked into a caldera in Shiv by the Numena Averru. Dromar was trapped deep in a cavern beneath the ocean by the Numena Lowallyn, who created a treasure trove for the dragon that was so vast that it sated all of Dromar's desires, leaving the dragon with nothing to want and therefore no reason to live. Rith was captured by the green Numena, and put inside the Magnigoth Treefolk Nemata in Yavimaya, while Treva was lured into the depths of an ancient library in a city in what would later be known as Argive by the white Numena, and was crucified there.
After this event, the five Numena assumed control over the plane for 1,000 years, although infighting among them would cause two of them to be killed, leaving only Kuberr, Lowallyn, and Averru.
