Mikkel
Mikkel was a village in the hinterlands of Kjeldor, on the continent of Terisiare at the time of the Dominarian Ice Age.
History
Mikkel was where the girl Kaysa grew up before she became the Elder Druid, and was the parish at which Halvor Arenson was the priest. In 2934 AR, the lowest parts of the Kjeldoran capital of Krov were awash with refugees, mostly from the farmsteads and towns beyond Mikkel. The same year, the village fell to Lim-Dûl's magic under the charge of the traitor Avram Garrisson, but through ten-year-old Kaysa's and Kolbjörn's magics and the valiant efforts of Disa, Lucilde Fiksdotter and Klazina Jansdotter, the dead were laid to rest. After burying the dead, the six survivors abandoned the village and headed south toward Fyndhorn.
