Ak-Baral is a large town situated in the northern reaches of Khur, to the east of Kortal and the northwest of Delphon. The town is the largest fixed settlement of the Hachakee Tribe, and is set on a stony rise set above a vast area of shifting sands.

The fierce Hachakee Tribe have staved off all enemies from their realm, as the shifting sands tends to overwhelm any stationary object in a matter of days. The terrible conditions in the desolate area has enabled the Hachakee to prevent any enemy from every encroaching on their territory, including the Green Dragonarmy during the War of the Lance.
