North Keep is the capital of the nation of Nordmaar and the home of the King of Nordmaar. The sprawling city is located in the central part of the nation, in the depths of the Sahket Jungle. North Keep is dominated by a monstrous vine covered stone fortress, and is the base of operations of the Knights of Solamnia in the nation.
The city is inhabited chiefly by the Cuichtalic tribe, who dwell in stone buildings built on large pillars that keep them above the jungle’s undergrowth. Large exotic gardens are dotted throughout the city, and a considerable amount of fresh fruit is grown and sold here.
