Plaza of the Sacred Elephants

Description

The Plaza sat in the northeast section of the city between the Ivory Palace and the great mosques of Dihliz.

The square was dominated by two fantastic life-size sculptures of elephants rearing up on their hind legs and facing each other.

Activities

All sorts of individuals filled the Plaza during business hours including merchants, courtiers, and viziers, many of whom had business with the Emira.
