“Sentai” () -- team, military task force, squadron. In 1975 Toei Productions created a tokusatsu (special effects) TV show featuring a team of costumed heroes called “Himitsu Sentai Gorenger”, or “Secret Team Go-Ranger”, spawning a series that would be in constant production for over 40 years. The formula is simple: a group of friends from all walks of life is united as a sentai in multi-colored costumes to oppose an Earch-shattering threat. In each episode the threats grow, from fighting faceless minions, to meeting the lieutenant, a parade of monsters each week, culminating in a final battle with the big bad itself.

"Sensational Sentai Squad GO!" features rules for creating a tight-knit team of powerful rangers, multiple campaign ideas, and a complete starting adventure set in the ever-expanding world of Mecha vs Kaiju.

• "Links" offer a way of connecting characters closely during the Phase Trio, then continuing the evolution of their relationship during play.
• The "Sentai Stunt" turns any character into a super hero, complete with a list of "Sentai Fighting Moves" for every skill (and I do mean every).
• Four sample settings complete with Campaign Notes, including how to turn MvK mecha and kaiju stunts into super powers and introducing alien races into your campaign.
• "The Kannon Sentai", a complete introductory adventure inspired by ancient Japanese history, taking place within the established MvK mythology of the battle between the heavenly Kami and the diobolical Ogres.
