Overview
Thesalys is a beautiful planet, with a wide variety of climates and terrain. There are many unique cultures living on Thesalys, but in general the planet is divided into five major governments, each peacefully vying for political supremacy. To date, House Shambrath is the most dominant and has been for several centuries.
Inhabitants
The Citizens of Thesalys are intellectually inclined, and as such are highly educated and have great interest in scientific innovation. Despite this, they also have great reverence for the gods and goddesses of the Greek Pantheon. They especially revere mighty Zeus as the creator of Greatspace, but also worship Athena. Very few Citizens openly worship the gods and goddesses of the Greek pantheon who are evil, including Ares, Circe, Hades, Hecate and Oceanus.
Thousands of years ago, Thesalys was dominated by numerous petty city-states. However, in the face of ever declining natural resources, and after some serious diplomatic negotiations, the people of Thesalys were united under a single government. However, this hard won unity was nearly sundered by a beastly warrior named Gerion Firebrand, were it not for the heroic actions of actions of Shurius Shambrath, whose victory and acclamation as the first governor of Thesalys is marked as the first year of the Time of Unity (1 TU).
Castle Skyview
Castle Skyview is the ancestral home of House Shambrath and has been the defacto capital and centre of government on Thesalys for over 200 years. In addition to housing the Shambrath family, the palace also boasts the greatest scientific minds in the system. The northern tower houses the offices and residences of the alchemists of Skyview, who are revered as great innovators in the art of science. The southern tower houses the offices and residences of the systems greatest sages, who are considered the greatest minds in their fields of study.
Castle Skyview was not built to be defendable: there hasn't been a major war or large scale conflict on Thesalys in over 500 years, and the castle's design reflects the planet's peaceful nature. The Thesalians are intellectuals and aesthetes, not warriors, and the security forces stationed within Castle Skyview are more for show than anything else.

Thesalys has a single moon in orbit around it named Myle.
Myle
Myle is the only moon in orbit around Thesalys. Unknown to others, including his father, Bruin Shambrath, crown prince of Thesalys, has built a safehouse on the moon, which he often visits when in need of some solitude. This safehouse makes for an excellent, well-located base of operations.
