Rais (Rye-EES) is a draconic deity of intellect and silver dragons. Her spheres of influence include Numbers, Thought, and Time.
Description
Rais appears as a silver dragon of surpassing beauty and grace.
Worship
Rais is worshiped exclusively by the silver dragons of Edill. However, the silver dragons shun organized services and structures like churches or shrines, preferring to worship Rais in their hearts and minds. Although sages believe that Rais is perfectly capable of bestowing clerical spells upon those worshippers who request them, it is not in the nature of Edill's silver dragons to rely on another and are unlikely ever to make such a request.
In Spelljammer
Rais is a member of the Draconic pantheon and is native to Greyspace. Certain sages from Oerth believe that, should Rais ever bestow spells upon her worshippers, her draconic priests would be able to use them throughout Greyspace without any diminishment in their power, but would possibly lose their spells and be unable to regain them should they leave the crystal sphere.
