Blackheart

"To challenge my beloved Dagger would result in your death and our financial profit. Of course, feel free to try.
I wouldn't want to discourage you."
- Blackheart of The Strike

Overview

Blackheart, as she called herself, served as the ship's mage under Dagger Iceblood of The Strike, one of the most feared pirate organizations in Krynnspace.

Description

Blackheart was a female half-elven Wizard of the Black Robes.

Personality

As beautiful as she was deadly, Blackheart used her spells to cause pain and terror, and like a cat, she loved to toy with her victims before ending their pitiful lives.

Possessions

Blackheart always wore a pair of bracers of defense, a cloak of the bat, a pair of boots of elvenkind, a brooch of shielding, and a ring of spell storing. She also possessed a wand of magic detection, a wand of fireballs, two jars of Keoghtum’s ointment, and a crystal parrot.

Relationships

Romantic partners

Blackheart was in a romantic relationship with the captain, Dagger Iceblood. She feigned affection for him, as she knew that she could profit greatly both magically and financially by being at his side. She was perhaps the only member of The Strike who was fully aware of his true age, and while she was repulsed by the thought of dallying with such an "old man", she was well aware that, by remaining at his side, she gained some level of authority over the rest of the crew, who were quick to take orders from her.

Blackheart intended to maintain the charade as Dagger's mate for as long as it took to put a plan together to remove him. When the time came, she intended to kill the captain and take control of The Strike. With that in mind, she had yet to decide whether she needed to seduce either Geva or Blase, or both.

Crew

Blackheart served as ship's mage under Dagger Iceblood, captain of The Strike's deathspider, alongside her fellow officers, first mate Geva of the Red Hills and second mate Blase Terror. The rest of the ship's complement was made up of sixty human and half-elven marauders who had made careers out of dealing in death and destruction.
