Habbakuk the Fisher King is a god of animals, hunting, passion, water and rebirth from the crystal sphere known as Krynnspace. Habbakuk is the divine personification of persistence, and he champions the perseverance of mortals in their struggle against adversity towards the greater good. Habbakuk embodies the natural cycle of life and death, the eternal struggle of predator and prey, and opposes the perversion of nature represented by undead and aberrations of magic.
Overview
Habbakuk rules over all the creatures of land and sea. He created these creatures in his own image, for he is as feral, merciless and cruel as the wolf, and as gentle and timid as the rabbit. Habbakuk embodies the natural harmony between predator and prey, and is feared as much as he is loved. Because he represents the eternal cycle of nature, Habbakuk, as the Blue Phoenix, has come to symbolise eternal life beyond death.
Habbakuk is the son of Mishakal and Paladine, and twin brother of Kiri-Jolith.
Description
