Overview
Majere was called from Beyond by the High God to serve as counselor and friend to Paladine, and has since then retreated from the world, prefering to watch from afar and rarely interfering. Majere is subtle and consistent, and in times of great turmoil and chaos, he remains rational, even-tempered, and calm. He works to bring clarity and reason to the fore, and is mostly called upon when beginning some undertaking requiring discipline and focus.
Description
Majere prefers to take the form of either a giant praying mantis, or a monstrous spider. He does occasionally appear as a stooped, balding old man in simple robes, or as a young blind female oracle with exotic features.

Majere is associated with the constellation Rose.
Favored weapon
Majere prefers to fight unarmed, in a style known as the Exalted Discipline or the Merciful Discipline.
Realm
Krynnspace cosmology
In the cosmology of Krynnspace, Majere maintains his realm, which resembles a serene candle-lit hall, within the Dome of Creation, along with the rest of the Gods of Light.
Great Wheel cosmology
In the Great Wheel Cosmology, Majere resides within his realm known as Contemplation, which is located on Amoria, the first layer of the Blessed Fields of Elysium.
Worship
Majere's following is small but influential, with many of Krynnspace's greatest theologians and teachers coming from the ranks of Majere's clergy. Priests of Majere are called to a path of severe but rewarding discipline. Taking vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, they focus on achieving enlightenment and holiness through self-disciple and contemplation of goodness. All receive their training in monasteries, and many pursue the martial arts as a means of achieving physical and spiritual control, or as a way of focussing on and understanding the teachings of the deities of good.
