This article is about the moon Nuitari; if you are looking for the deity of the same name see here.
Overview
The surface of Nuitari appears almost black from a distance, due to its sparse dark green vegetation and the dark spires of its mountains. Early explorers found no signs of life on the moon, despite its clean, breathable atmosphere. However, they did find the remains of several spelljammers, ensuring the moons reputation for being uninviting and uninhabited. However, Nuitari is inhabited: scattered across the moon are small groups of DelNoric plasmoids, a handful of marooned lutums, a few lensman beholder-kin, and an unknown number of argos.
Nuitari's inhabitants have successfully hidden themselves from passing spelljamming ships. However, ships that do land quickly discover there is life on the moon, and their crews do not live to pass on the information. Apart from the occasional ship, the moon's residents are forced to live off each other and the variety of mosses that abound on Nuitari's surface. Several varieties of moss are addictive, and creatures that feast upon them guard them zealously and have no desire to leave the moon.
