This article is about the deity Paladine; if you are looking for the moon of the same name see here.
Overview
Paladine upholds the laws of good, assists the righteous, and abjures the evil. He believes in free will, and the right of individuals to choose their own destinies. However, he does not turn his back on those who have traveled along the dark path, but seeks instead to bring them back into the light. He always thinks about the greater good first, but within the law.
Paladine is the father of Solinari and the twins, Habbukuk and Kiri-Jolith, with his wife Mishakal.
Description
Paladine’s most impressive and potent form is that of the Platinum Dragon; which, as his most iconic symbol, is depicted in the form of statues, and in tapestries and murals across Krynnspace. However, Paladine prefers less ostentatious or obvious forms, favoring rotund balding priests, ancient yet spry knights in antiquated armor, or, on occasion, a bumbling, absent-minded wizard much beloved of kender.
Holy symbol
Paladine's holy symbol is a silver (or platinum) triangle, or a platinum dragon. Among the elves, Paladine's symbol is a pine tree, while among the dwarves it is an anvil.
