This article is about the deity Reorx; if you are looking for the planet of the same name see here.
Overview
At the direction of the High God, Reorx brought the world into existence, crafting the planets, the stars, and the souls of all mortals from the raw material of Chaos. Reorx hates and fears Chaos, calling it the “Father of All and Nothing,” and has done all that he can to keep his creation from boiling away into Chaos once again, which makes his role in trapping a fragment of Chaos within the Graygem all the more ironic.
Reorx is the patron of all craftsmen and all those who aspire towards and embrace the need to create. He also favors those that rely on their skills and talents, such as rogues and gamblers, who can turn a situation to their advantage by relying on nothing more than what they know. However something is achieved, Reorx acknowledges and promotes the drive of mortals to shape, build, and produce.
Description
Reorx shows a distinct preference for manifesting in the form of a dwarf, even when appearing before non-dwarves. However, he is just as capable of taking on the form of a steely-eyed tinker gnome or a stocky kender if the situation warrants it. Reorx usually appears as a deeply-tanned blacksmith with steel-gray hair and a beard like rusted iron, or a powerfully built warrior with enormous, muscular arms and a great warhammer. Sometimes he appears as a carefree and jovial individual prone to hefting tankards of ale and throwing dice at the gambling tables. He can also manifest as an earth or fire elemental that resembles a stocky humanoid in shape.
Holy symbol
Reorx's holy symbol is a smith's forging hammer.
Celestial symbol
"The halls. I've seen the halls. Filled with gold. Filled with gems. Filled with food and ale and hearty dwarven laughter. Death isn't so bad."
- Bouldercrush, a dwarven miner who died and was revived.
Reorx is associated with the planet Reorx. Reorx uses the planet like a powerful wizard's eye or giant crystal ball, allowing the god to observe events across the sphere, and monitoring activities on the various worlds. Reorx uses the planet in this manner about once a year, usually during a religious festival held on Reorx or Krynn in his honor.
Worshipers believe Reorx resides deep beneath the planet's mountains, in a great hall with walls and pillars of gold, silver, platinum, and mithril. Known as the Hall of the Golden King, the god is said to feast with the spirits of long-dead dwarven kings at banquets that last for days, with mounds of roast deer and barrels upon barrels of ale. The great hall does indeed exist, and was fashioned by an avatar of Reorx that often frequents this world. The avatar often toils in the dwarven mines, mingles with the gnomes, and observes spelljamming visitors.
Favored weapon
Reorx wields a warhammer known as Reorx's Strength.

Worship
The priests of Reorx play an important role in dwarven society, and oversee significant ceremonies within their communities, such as naming rituals and the rites of adulthood. Dwarven priests are organised into a strict hierarchy, with each cleric knowing exactly their position and role within the church. In gnomish society, the priests of Reorx are in no way as influential, but do play an important part in mining operations. The priests of Reorx, known as Forgers, are expected to spend their days creating, usually by working in a forge. Even when travelling, a priest of Reorx is expected to carry a portable forge with them wherever they may go.
In Spelljammer
Reorx is a member of the Gods of Balance and is considered native to Krynnspace.
