Solinari (deity)

This article is about the deity Solinari; if you are looking for the moon of the same name see here.

Overview

Solinari was once the divine personification of vigilance; however, when he and his cousins chose self-imposed exile to be closer to Krynn, he chose to incarnate his power into Krynn’s silver moon. Solinari is committed to safeguarding and protecting his charges, and has a real desire to see magic used for the betterment of all people on Krynn. He serves as a sentinel in the evening sky, one that travels slowly but purposefully through the heavens.

Solinari is the son of Mishakal and Paladine, and younger brother to the twins, Habbakuk and Kiri-Jolith.

Description

Solinari typically appears as an elven or human White Robe wizard. On the moon Solinari, he often appears as a grommam, cavorting through the trees with the ape-folk.

Holy symbol

Solinari's holy symbol is a white or silver circle or sphere.

Celestial symbol

Solinari is associated with the Silver Moon, Solinari. He can use the moon like a powerful wizard's eye or giant crystal ball to observe events across the sphere. Unfortunately he cannot always observe the moon Nuitari, as it sometimes lies hidden directly behind Krynn, causing Solinari great concern as he believes his cousin Nuitari puts his foul plans into motion during these times.

Favored weapon

Solinari does not wield a weapon, preferring to use magic.
