Star Trek: Early Voyages #4: Nor Iron Bars a Cage

Early Skecth This is a behind the scenes of the very first pilot episode of the Cage.  It is from the perspective of J. Mia Colt.  Mia has the unfortunate task of replacing Dermot Cusack.  Dermot was Captain Christopher Pike's Yeoman and long time friend who died in a battle at Rigel VII.  She arrives on the U.S.S. Enterprise just as the coffins are being unloaded.  She is not wanted as Dermot was so popular and it takes time before she is respected by the crew.  At the end of the story is some of the early sketches of the crew.
