Abrianna Mirimm

Appearance

Abrianna is a withered, ancient, elder female goblin with strings of hair that dangle down two and a half feet almost to her toes, wrapped in wrinkled and billowing dark blue and black robes. In The Tales of Exandria: The Bright Queen, she is depicted with clear eyes, and white hair. Her hair, though still long, is shorter than described in the campaign and goes down to her mid-back. She paints her face in vertical lines crossing over her eyes and horizontal lines outlining her chin, and she has numerous earrings, including plugs and ear cuffs.

Personality

Abrianna is a trustworthy woman who patiently guides many Kryn teenagers through the process of anamnesis. She is understanding and empathetic, and fights for those causes that she considers just.

Background

Abrianna is titled "Skysybil", and is an important figure in the court of the Bright Queen. She has lived nearly as long as the Bright Queen, through several lives, and she is the Keeper of the History. The Bright Queen looks to her on matters of lore. In her most recent reincarnation, less than a century ago, the Skysybil was reborn as a goblin, and despite the respect she commands, she has also become an object of ridicule in some court circles. This experience, far from embittering her, has given her a greater perspective and she has become an advocate for goblinkin rights on the Lucid Bastion council.

Campaign Two

In " In Love and War " (2x57), Abrianna explained to the Mighty Nein that the beacons are the center of consecution, and that she, Leylas Kryn, and many others in the Kryn Dynasty had lived many lives through the process of consecution. She described this process as well as the Kryn religious belief that repeated reincarnation would result in a perfect soul, or Umavi. She was later present in " Intervention " (2x63) for the Mighty Nein's audience with the Bright Queen Leylas Kryn, and was referred to as an ancient goblin lore master of the Luxon.

When the Mighty Nein went to report the release of the The Laughing Hand to the Bright Queen in " Causatum " (2x70), Abrianna was able to identify that the mountain in the Flotket Alps that Caduceus had seen in his visions was Kravaraad. She was also familiar with the Laughing Hand, though she had believed him to have been killed, rather than sealed. She had not heard of the Angel of Irons cult.

Campaign Three

During the crisis caused by the apogee solstice of 843 PD the Kryn Dynasty became an ally of the Exandrian Accord, and the Skysybil traveled to Vasselheim. When she learned that Bells Hells were about to leave to fulfill an important mission, she presented them with a gift from her nation: two potions of possibility and one Sphere of Dunamantic Restoration, asking them to remember the gesture; when Imogen Temult asked her the function of the presents, Abrianna simply responded that they were smart people, assuming they could figure it out by themselves.

The Tales of Exandria: The Bright Queen

At some point in the late 830s or early 840s PD, Abrianna was present when Quana Kryn left Rosohna to pursue a sixth beacon in the Ghostlands, leading to Quana's abduction.

Some time later, she mentored a young drow adolescent who was experiencing anamnesis, teaching them the history of Exandria and the culture of the Kryn Dynasty people. By this point, she had heard the details of Leylas' dreams of a child conceived through the Luxon whom Leylas believed was to be the future of the Dynasty. During Abrianna's lengthy conversation with the adolescent, during which she relayed events between Leylas and Quana as they retrieved a sixth beacon and raised the child, Caelestis, Leylas wished to meet both of them at the gate. However, Abrianna sent away the Aurora Watch soldiers who arrived with the request, saying that it was too soon and that the adolescent could not be rushed through this process.
