Mistress Asharru was a woman in her mid-to-late forties. She had black hair with white streaks throughout it. Her left eye was ruined and sealed closed with a scar. She wore ornate scale mail armor that was black and purple.

" A Name Is Earned " (1x49)

After Vox Machina passed Kamaljiori's test, he told them of the current wearer of Cabal's Ruin: "a merchant-warrior with a missing eye in the walls of Ank'Harel."

"The Lives We Make" (Stories Untold)

Anna Ripley, who had been able to listen in on Vox Machina through an enchantment on her old pistol that Percival de Rolo was carrying, tasked Kynan Leore with quietly killing Mistress Asharru, but he failed at the last moment to cut Asharru's throat, so the rest of the party had to rush in and kill her in a less stealthy manner. Worried about detection, the party fled the city quickly, gaining as much distance as they could before the body was discovered.

" The Streets of Ank'Harel " (1x65)

Vox Machina traveled to Ank'Harel in search of Cabal's Ruin. They learned that a merchant-warrior would likely be a member of the Scarbearers, a troop that could be found at the Debt's Respite. There they spoke with Treev Bonebreaker, who assured them that he could get in contact with Asharru, but it could take a week for her to respond. Treev handed off a scroll and gold to an androgynous masked and hooded figure, and the figure took a tortuous trip through the city, apparently trying to shake anyone who followed, but Vax'ildan was able to keep up discreetly and saw where the scroll was dropped off: a closed furniture store called "A Kingly Home."

" A Traveler's Gamble " (1x66)

Returning to the dropoff point and exploring the interior of the store, Vax'ildan found Mistress Asharru dead with multiple puncture wounds across her torso and Cabal's Ruin taken. After Vox Machina inspected the body and the surrounding room, they came to the conclusion that she was killed by Anna Ripley.
