History
Despite having resided in the Marrow Valley, Veth Brenatto was not familiar with the aurochs when the party saw the creatures at night, and her human companions who grew up in other parts of the Dwendalian Empire hadn't heard of the buffalo-like creatures either. Bryce Feelid later identified them for the party as "valley aurochs".
Within Xhorhas, aurochs are often used as pack animals in by the folk of Asarius.
