History
The mountains of the Alabaster Sierras were created by the forces unleashed in a cataclysmic battle between Pelor and Tharizdun during the Calamity. This suffused the stone of the mountains, called whitestone, with latent magical energy, which can be refined to create residuum.
Religion
In 812 PD, the main deity worshipped in the region was Pelor, but there were minority followings of Melora and the Raven Queen.
By 836 PD, worship of Tharizdun had grown to a minority faith as well.
