Those who live in the Shalesteps prefer to live outside Emon, but close enough to enjoy the protection and supplies offered by the large city. They enjoy a simple life of fishing in the ocean and the Nightwash lagoon, or hunting in the mountains, although they do at times face dangerous creatures from the sea or from the mountains in which they live.
