History
During the Herd of Storms's occupation of Westruun in the Chroma Crisis, many citizens took refuge inside the First Bastion, partially ruined by the Chroma Conclave. Scanlan Shorthalt encountered these civilians, as well as his old mentor Dr. Dranzel and his daughter Kaylie, during Vox Machina's plan to liberate the city. Scanlan used Seeming to disguise the citizens as members of the Herd of Storms and led them to the city's sewers to help them escape.
