During the Scattered War, the Kingdom of Drassig would execute both rebel leaders and innocent citizens at the gallows in the Silvercut Crossroads. After Zan Tal'Dorei was named sovereign, the gallows were torn down, and the gravesite commemorated with a stone monument to those who had lost their lives to the brutal rule of Drassig. There are still rumors of undead in the area, and travelers tend to avoid camping nearby.
Long before adventuring with Vox Machina, Scanlan Shorthalt stayed briefly in a small town just south of the Crossroads and had a brief fling with Sybil, resulting in the birth of Kaylie without his knowledge.
