Summit Peaks

There are hidden retreats in the mountains to which the inhabitants of Zephrah can evacuate in case of emergency.

Inhabitants

Aside from the generally humanoid inhabitants of Zephrah, there are others who live in the Summit Peaks. Hill giants and stone giants make their homes in the marshy valleys of the Summit Peaks.

Fauna

Griffons, harpies, and groups of giant eagles all nest in the higher, windswept peaks. There are dire wolves in the Summit Peaks, and they have wintry white fur coats. And as mentioned above, a wide variety of creatures migrate up from the K'Tawl Swamp. Some of the dangerous beasts and other monsters of the Summit Peaks can pose a threat to Zephrah, so skydancers and druidic warriors are trained to defend against them.
