Description
The Erdeloch has cold waters and is the most prolific site for fishing within the Dwendalian Empire. Fishing boats from Odessloe on its eastern shore frequent the southern waters of the lake, and it sees a considerable amount of riverboat travel for logging and other transport. The northern side of the lake in the Pearlbow Wilderness is less frequently traveled.
History
In the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, set around early 836 PD, the low-level adventure hook "Feeling Crabby" involves bandits capturing, starving, and releasing giant crabs so the people of Odessloe will make expensive offerings to the lake spirit, after which the bandits steal said offerings for themselves, not worrying if this might cause any reaction from the supposed spirit of the place.
