The Tomb of the Worm is a cave located on the island of Gelier in Eiselcross which contains the body of Quajath, the Undermaw. The cave is also home to a society of wildfolk who call themselves wormkin.

Description

The Tomb of the Worm is an icy cave on the island of Gelier. Exposed portions of the body of Quajath poke through the walls and ceiling of the cave, still attached to the body of the worm. A settlement of wormkin thrives within the cave.

Society

Around 805 PD, a group of wildfolk discovered the Tomb of the Worm. They consumed part of Quajath's flesh, and, seeing it regenerate, decided to make a home in the cave, with the body of the Undermaw as their primary food source. These folk are known as wormkin, and are completely under the influence of Quajath, with whom they are connected telepathically. The wormkin work in harmony as a cult of Quajath, and are eager for more to join their ranks, even going so far as to force-feed meat to outsiders to corrupt them. The leader of the wormkin, Galgonos, organizes expeditions in search of more converts. In addition to growing their ranks, the wormkin also wish to free Quajath from the ice. The wormkin have agreed to convert to worshipping the Luxon and joining the Kryn Dynasty once the worm is freed. However, it is unlikely that the wormkin intend to make good on this promise.
