Fevergulf Lake is a large, brackish lake in south central Xhorhas. It has a sulfurous smell and is warm, at times becoming so hot in some regions that some of the fish and lake creatures that live within it will migrate to cooler portions of the same lake. The lake shore is covered in stripes of pastel hues from the strange minerals within the lake.
Beneath the waters there are strange and dangerous creatures, making crossing by boat a risky proposition.
Eyes of the Lake
The two islands of the Fevergulf Lake have rocky shores and twin forest full of brown dead trees, all of them tall, twisted, leafless and covered in moss. There are stories among the clans of the Iothia Moorland about a very old cult whose members still live in the Eyes of the Lake, mourning some long-forgotten god.
