Icehaven
The Dwendalian Empire's sole port, Icehaven is a small, isolated town (population approximately 5000) and harbor for a dozen or so ships outfitted to brave the ice of the Frigid Depths. Ol' Blemmy, whom the Mighty Nein encountered in Hupperdook, was a native of Icehaven, as was the human woman from whom Beau bought a bone bracelet in a tent at the crossroads of the Gravelway Path and the Rillway Road in " Have Bird, Will Travel " (2x23).
Palebank Village
Located at the northern edge of the Greying Wildlands on the shores of the Frigid Depths, Palebank Village is a dwarven/elven settlement surviving mostly by fishing, trapping, and hunting, and more recently by acting as a gateway for expeditions to Eiselcross. The Vellum Steeple in Uthodurn holds a teleportation circle to Palebank.
Syrinlya
Syrinlya is a tiny, mostly dwarven outpost of yurts on the Eiselcross island of Foren that acts as a landing area and trading outpost for expeditions to the ruins of Aeor. It maintains trade links with Uthodurn and Palebank Village.
Balenpost
The Cerberus Assembly maintains a small ramshackle fortress on the island of Foren as their base of operations there, sending out exploration parties under orders to recover Aeorian artifacts.

" The Chase Begins " (2x112)
The Mighty Nein agreed to escort Vess DeRogna to Eiselcross on a journey to the ancient ruins of the city of Aeor. To do so, they needed to cross the Frigid Depths. They Teleported to Palebank Village and embarked on the Midnight Hammer, a large icebreaker. After the first day of travel, they spotted wreckage floating in the ocean and found five frozen corpses of Righteous Brand soldiers, some pelts and a closed box containing a magical scroll which Caleb later identified as a Scroll of Protection against Aberrations. On the fourth day, the ship was attacked by three chuuls, a deep scion and an undead Captain Avantika.
" A Heart Grown Cold " (2x113)
Avantika took the Cloven Crystal from Fjord and jumped into the sea. The party went in hot pursuit, where Fjord was able to defeat her and retrieve the Crystal. They returned to the ship and continued their journey. A few days out from Balenpost, they noticed they were being followed by three cetuces. The party realized the cetuses were hungry and gave them pastries, fish, and then all their purchased provisions. In gratitude, the cetuses began leading the way through the ice fields, cutting a day off the journey.
