Exterior

The massive temple is located at the top of a hill in the center of the Duskmeadow. It is cathedral-like structure with steeples and archways built of obsidian and gold. The entrance is through two large, 8 by 12 foot glass doors at the top of a flight of stairs. The glass is one-sided; when one looks in from the outside it appears opaque, but those inside can clearly see out. The snow that falls on the building seems to move away so that it never accumulates.

Interior

The main chamber just inside the entrance serves as a walkway, and the lighting is provided by continuous rows of candles along the walls. The hallway leads for another hundred feet before the glass of the walls begins to change into a different material as one enters the next chamber, more dark grays and ivory, and it feels as though it is intricately carved of ice and bone.

The most sacred chamber is the communion pool. The pool is in a room at the top of a 40 foot tall staircase, behind a dark oak door with a large iron ring door knocker. Inside is a 100 foot high room with a steepled dome roof made entirely of multicolored stained glass. The room is filled with hidden glyphs holding extremely strong abjuration magic, with some necromantic and conjuration glyphs as well. In the center of the chamber is a large round pool full of ice cold blood absent any sign of coagulation and celestial in essence.

When someone enters the pool and communes with the Raven Queen, they must allow their lungs to fill with the blood, rather than resist.

Notable people

" Cages " (3x103)

After the apogee solstice of 843 PD a phenomenon known as the Dark Bloom awakened many of the corpses in the catacombs under Vasselheim, and as they were defeated, the people of the Raven's Crest had to apply the appropriate funeral rites to them for the second time. However, given the massive number of enemies, the soldiers of the Dawn City decided to seal the caverns until they had time to deal with the undead properly.

" A Test of Fate " (3x109)

At the invitation of the Matron of Ravens, Bells Hells sought to commune with the goddess. They went to Raven's Crest, met with Lieve'tel Toluse, and entered the pool of blood, where they were brought into a liminal space to converse with the Matron.
