Description

The Honored Trails network throughout the dense and dangerous jungle, forming an extensive array of unpaved passages for both trade and travel. Near Jrusar, the path is a well-traveled combination of occasional "rough-packed gravel and well-pressed dirt" that is relatively easy for horses to navigate.

Traveling along a trail is a dangerous gamble, but that pales in comparison to the dangers in the surrounding wilds. Ariks Eshteross warned Bells Hells not to depart from the Honored Trails during their journey to the Heartmoor, saying that the Wilds "have many alluring mysteries within, but they are known superstitiously to have shifted and changed based on whatever entities call those places home. [...] The Trails are the most safe." Despite the necessity to travel many days to most destinations, there are no designated resting spots and travelers must discover and/or create their own.

History

Relics of ancient times are rumored to exist deep in the jungle. In more recent times, the Ivory Syndicate moved nearly unimpeded through both Jrusar and the Honored Trails, tightening its grip on the people of the region.

Most of the members of Bells Hells originally arrived in Jrusar via the Honored Trails. When the party left for Heartmoor Hamlet, they rode horses along the paths of the Honored Trails. Along these trails and in the surrounding wilds they encountered an almiraj.
