Description
The island has hills of volcanic origin covered with lush jungle, and pools with waterfalls; there is at least one lake. The sky over Slival is foggy and yellowish.
There are rock tunnels along the coast, and when the tide pushes through them it produces a rumble that can be described as the island itself "burping". "Me", a local dolabo, described it as a spray cannon, stating it was dangerous to go inside.
At one inlet on the ocean's edge, there is a thin black pebbled beach and a roughly 150-foot cliff. In that lagoon the water is full of spire-like rocks.
History
At some point after 812 PD, grieving the loss of the love of her life, Keyleth visited Slival as part of her research on the gods and the limits of their power. She met there a local woman, Jirana, who was an expert in mourning and loss, helping the archdruid deal with her pain.
In 843 PD Keyleth sent Bells Hells to Slival using her Transport via Plants spell.
