Description
Yutazo is a village of remarkable size at the base of the local mountain. There are stone markings hanging from branches leading to the settlement, as well as 12 feet tall statues covered in runes that are used as warnings or messages; each of these statues represent historical and/or mythological figures (such as Vashawn) that are also used to represent ideals of the local culture.
Points of interest
- Kurunpa-Mina - The name given by the locals to the main mountain. Its top is completely destroyed, but magical forces contained the detonation, keeping the shards floating in the air, frozen in time; inside the mountain itself is the prison of the fractured titan. Drop bears and giant magpies can be found in the area.
Society
Yutazo people are giant kin and their community seems to be adapted to their great size. Culturally speaking they value tradition and memorable feats of heroes (such as Vashawn), but their sense of community also make them supportive of those who choose unusual paths, such as music.
The locals have markings in their skin that they receive as children, some being as young as 3 years old when it happens.

History
The people of Yutazo have prospered for many generations under the protection of the Spirit of the Island. helped some sailors from the Wanderman Assembly when they arrived to their island and needed help; for a time, both communities prospered through the cultural exchange and commerce, and the village got goods that weren't usually available in the area.
However, things got worse after the Coracle started having dreams about Kurunpa-Mina, at some point during or before 843 PD. When the mountain exploded (because the sailors had been extracting ore connected to the fractured titan inside a cave), the corrupted elemental power it contained started releasing strange magic and waves of dark energy that harmed mortals and spirits alike. The Spirit of Evaterena managed to freeze the detonation of the mountain when it happened, and the power of the island petrified the villagers whenever they got too weakened by the radiation of the fractured titan; however, even the primordial idol was harmed by the incident, and got split along with the island itself: the physical and spiritual aspects of Evaterena were separated, each with one half of Ethel Rivergold, with very fractured memories. Shortly after the end of the Era of Reclamation, the Nein Heroez arrived to the island, and the two adventuring parties collectively known as the Nein Hells were also separated into two groups, with each of them dealing with the problems surrounding Yutazo and their mountain, and helping the two halves of Ethel to fight the fractured titan and unify both Evaterena and its primordial spirit, which helped free the village.
