A Far-Out Encounter of an Ogg Kind

Published: 2023 by IDW Publishing
Author: Ed Dukeshire

Synopsis

Once upon a time, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles encountered Mr. Ogg, a card-carrying trickster type from an alternate dimension. Now he’s back and it’s no more Mr. Nice Guy as Ogg charges the Turtles with a crime that they’re most definitely guilty of, and Raphael is the guiltiest of all! It’s an extradimensional accusation of the meta kind—with some bonus extraterrestrials to boot in the form of Wingnut and Screwloose—all in this issue of Saturday Morning Adventures!

Plot

Wingnut and Screwloose have kidnapped April O'Neil and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are in the middle of rescuing her. Then when the villains' machine doesn't work the pair run off, leaving the turtles to celebrate.

Their celebration is interrupted by Ogg the Magnificent, an imp from Dimension Z. He has gotten bored watching the turtles, and decided to put them on trail, for breaking the fourth wall too much. This turns into a trail, with Ogg as judge, jury, prosecutor, defender and all the other people in the court room.

He finds the turtles guilty and banishes them to Dimension Z for eternity, but Donatello has an idea and tells Ogg he has the cure for boredom and will only tell the imp if he returns them to earth and promises to never bother them again.

Ogg agrees but gets angry when Donatello tells him the cure for boredom is surprise. This causes Ogg to return to his own dimension leaving the turtles to wonder what happened to April and how to destroy the machine.
