The High Tribunal of the Eternal Empire is situated in Nilfgaard, the capital city of the Nilfgaardian Empire. This court is used to judge only the most serious criminals: the ones guilty of treason against the Imperator and the Empire, who can't benefit of the Amnesty. Usually the accused persons are taken from the Citadel (the Imperial prison), and, if in the end they are declared guilty, they are hanged in the Millennium Square. Stefan Skellen, Dacre Silifant and Joanna Selborne were processed in this court.
